Frequently Confused Grammar

After decades of teaching English as a second language, I have compiled some frequently confused grammar for all avid learners to enhance their English with ease.

Correct: He takes trouble over his work.
Wrong: He takes troubles to do his work.

Correct: Our house is built of stone.
Wrong: Our house is built of stones.

Correct: She gave me some good advice.
Wrong: She gave me some good advices.

Correct: Have you received any information?
Wrong: Have you received any informations?
