Ali lost his father when he was a young child. His mother had to raise him on her own. She worked two jobs to pay the bills and to provide for Ali’s basic needs and education. She loved Ali with all her heart and spoiled him with everything he wanted, even if it meant working harder and longer. She hoped that Ali would succeed in life and take care of her when she grew old.
However, Ali did not appreciate his mother’s sacrifices. He became a selfish and spoiled child. He always demanded more from his mother and never thanked her. When he finished secondary school, he became rebellious and uncontrollable. He hung out with the wrong crowd and picked up bad habits like gambling. He owed a lot of money to many people.
One day, he asked his mother for a large amount of money. His mother refused to give it to him because she had saved it for his further education. Ali got angry and argued with his mother. In a fit of rage, he hit his mother. She fell down and hit her head on the bed. She lost consciousness and was in a coma for three days. Ali was left alone to face the consequences of his actions. He realized how much his mother had done for him and how little he had done for her.
When his mother woke up from the coma, she saw a changed son. Ali had found a decent job and asked his mother to quit her jobs. He apologized to his mother and promised to be a better son. He had learned his lesson and would never take his mother for granted again.
